In addition to daily necessities, the General Store offers frosty cold ice cream shakes, malts and the best sandwiches this side of Saddleback Mountain. The General Store is open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.</p> <p>Since it opened in 1987, Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club has earned a reputation as one of the finest country clubs in the United States. The North Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was named one of the top 25 courses built in 1987 by Golf Digest Magazine and is the top rated golf course in Orange County. In 1991, the club house was opened and immediately hailed as an architectural masterpiece. Comfortably elegant the club is a place that honors and celebrates the great traditions of the game.</p> <p>In April of 1995, the South Course opened for play, and Coto became the only private club in Orange County with 36 holes of golf, joining legendary Los Angeles Country Club as one of only three private clubs in metropolitan Southern California to offer two championship courses. Rules will be posted at the entrance and dog owners will be expected to clean up after their dogs. Aggressive dogs and female dogs in heat will not be allowed in the park. All dogs must have a current license.</p> <p><b>LOCATION AND DESIGN:<br> </b>The park will be located in the vacant lot at the corner of Vista del Verde and Via Pajaro across from the General Store. It will be fenced and double gated. There will be benches for humans to sit, visit and watch their dogs play. There will also be a "Celebration Garden" to permanently display, in a walkway, the customized tiles purchased and designed by Coto residents in celebration of a current or past family canine member</p> <p><b>SPONSORING A TILE:<br> </b>The park will be built entirely with the funds raised through donations and the sale of individual tiles. The tiles will be 8x8 ceramic tiles, glazed and fired for longevity.
