Coto De Caza
Cota de Caza is one of Southern California's most beautiful places - a long
peaceful valley filled with trees and meadows, framed by scenic hillsides and
towering mountain peaks. Cota de Caza is so private and protected you would
never know you were only minutes from almost anywhere you wanted to be in
Orange County.
Coto de Caza is a place so singular in it's beauty, so removed from the
outside intrusions and pressures of city life, that it cannot be compared to
anywhere else. It is simply the finest, private, gated, master planned
community in Orange County. Quality of life was foremost when the Coto de Caza
master plan was created. The result is that Coto residents enjoy the highest
ratio of open space to homes in Orange County. Children have ample space to
play and grow including landscaped parks, and a 475 acre wilderness park. Coto
de Caza's master planners have also provided an abundance of hiking, biking,
and equestrian trails for fun and exploration. Coto de Caza is a community
where children can walk to school with their friends, and families can enjoy
an evening stroll through the neighborhood. This is home. This is Coto de Caza.

reputation as one of the finest country clubs in the United States. The North
Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was named one of the top 25
courses built in 1987 by Golf Digest Magazine and is the top rated golf course

In April of 1995, the South Course opened for play, and Coto became the
only private club in Orange County with 36 holes of golf, joining legendary
Los Angeles Country Club as one of only three private clubs in metropolitan
Southern California to offer two championship courses. The South Course, also

South Course is somewhat softer, less imposing than its neighbor to the north.
Eight years in planning and design, the South Course has taken its place among
the elite.
